Clerks...when Dante gets the fine for selling smokes.
My theroy....they were sold around 2pm....but the kid had to go home, mother find out...then she called the taxation office, at 4 o'clock.
so when the taxation officer explians that 'an angry mother called and said a Quick Stop employee sold her child smokes at 4 o'clock' (paraphrase), the 4 o'clock could have been a reference when she called, not when the smokes were sold....
Anyway...no doubt this dead horse has been beaten before...
