So I just watched The Good Girl last night. I didn't know what to expect, and thought it was just some romantic comedy with the chick from friends and the asshole from Bubbleboy. Boy was I wrong. Aniston blew me away in this role, becuase she actually showed depth of character and emotions other than bubbly or flirtatious. It was like nothing I've ever seen her in (which is good becuase other than Office Space she su-hucks).
I really, really liked the movie until the last ten minutes or so. The ending was alright I guess but I don't think she should have stayed with her current husband, Phil. Sure, the guy was a porno star and magician before a painter so you know he's hung like a zebra, but I was hoping she'd just leave Bubbleboy at the hotel and leave her husband at home and just leave town by herself to have her baby somehwere she's never been and just make a change. It just seems like she settled back into whatever was wrong with her life before.
Also, the secondary characters blew me away. Bubba kicked ass even though he was sleazeball, and my favorite was the Retail Rodeo girl that 'got a little too creative on the PA.' (have a good day and fuck you very much)
