That green is awful. I've always made it a policy to avoid colors that, if stared at long enough, alter color perception. What? That's right. Stare at a page that color for a few miutes and then go to a white page and tell me the white doesn't look right.
Also, the logo is a bit fuzzy. Might want to sharpen it a bit.
I hate padding on a page as well. Borders should be 0.
Open-box doesn't mean much to me. It's easy enough to figure out, but why should I have to think? Thinking kills.
I think the thumbs are a little too big. Tighten them up a bit and get everything "above the fold" as Duff would say.
There is no search feature. Even if you are going to add it in a child page you should have a search feature with a drop down to choose which, or all, departments.
And it would be nice if you had links to jump around from department to department somewhere near the top. I like the way it's done on the computers4sure.com site.
