: Why are so many people so anal retentive when it comes to age? Sorry, I didn't mean to shatter your fragile self-image. What I meant by my statement is that if you're just starting out (which you are) then by the time your skills have improved and you possibly build some notoriety you will be trying for middle-aged acting jobs. As it is, spring chicken is a bit past your grasp.

: And speaking from experience it's hard to find good actors in the 30-55 range. I'm trying to cast for a short right now with one female lead in her early 30's and one male lead in his late 40's and having a hell of a time.

: But yes, I am 12.

: : : : I was wondering if 32 years is too old to start acting?...Seriously acting. I am new to this and I am very excited but I am also wondering if I may be getting into the game a little too late.

: : : on March 15-17 would you?

: : : Ah, wishful thinking. You know what's harder than finding good twenty-something actors? Good middle-aged actors. There should be plenty of roles available for you if you're in the right place.

: : I am not "Middle Aged" yet. I think I have something to offer though. I have been told by quite a few people that I should give it a go. I have just recently gotten up the nerve to try. MIDDLE AGED.....you must be like 12 to think that 32 is middle aged....Man!(LOL)

I didnt mean to come off like that. I was being sarcastic. Just my sense warped sense of humor. I get that old thing a lot at the gym. Its old.
So what advice would you have for someone that is just starting out.
