I'm not a Clinton basher nor am I a Bush supporter (in fact I get angrier and more annoyed with things in this country every day), I was making a point to all the Clinton apologists. The man did some incredibly sleazy things while in office, and some of his supporters refuse to own up to that. It's simple- you can like what Clinton did overall during his term in office, but don't turn a blind eye to the fact that it was his own stupid actions that almost brought him down. Accept that and move on (hell, we've accepted that JFK was a notorious pussy hound), but don't try and whitewash that Clinton, while maybe a good president, was a sleazy bastard and it was his lies that got him into trouble. HIS lies, not somebody elses. Does that negate any of the good he did? No, but it's intrinisically intertwined with his legacy and it's ridiculous when the Clinton lovers try and ignore it.
