It makes a substantial difference what he lies about, and for what reasons. If a President lies about waging war on a certain country because he wishes to remain in power...does that not far outweigh a President lying about a blowjob because he wishes to preserve his marriage and get back to his job?
And if lying is what got him in trouble, not say, a right-wing conspiracy -- why is it that the American public supported Clinton MORE after the whole scandal was revealed than they ever did before?

What I'm saying is, where does this sudden sexual prudishness come from? Do you imagine that 50 year old men, in general, NEVER go for women younger than they? Or that married men never cheat?
