In "An Evening with Kevin Smith" Someone asked him the same question, and I believe his answer was "You will never see them ever again." His explanation was that he didn't want to overstay his welcome and become another Pauly Shore.
I do wonder about other characters from the Askewniverse. Who would like to see another movie with Brodie Bruce or Holden McNeal in it?
