: I am the BIGGEST kevin smith fan, as a matter of fact a have a friend named Kevin Smith, but anyway, I just started writing a script and i wonder if ne body could give me some advice?

the main thing about writing a script is to have a story, dont get too caught up in dialogue,if you have a good story to tell with good charachters the dialogue will come naturally, tell the story and let the charachters speak.Kevin write's in monolouge but that doesn't work for everyone, take pretty in pink, written in one day by john hughe's,not overly heavy on dialouge(compared to the breakfast club) but tell's a good story none the less. That's my humble opinion,(having just finished my script).the best of luck.
