These are questions for Kevin or anyone who believes their experience would permit a credible and accurate response.
1. What process would you as a writer follow while attempting to sell a screenplay whose storyline is based on characters, images and a lead-in story already existing, owned and released by a studio? (i.e. sequel)
2. How would you determine current ownership of this type of intellectual property if the original release date is over 20 years ago?
3. Would you restrict your sales efforts to current owners or look to sell elsewhere and quantify the licensing of such property into the production budget?
