He is a "country", for lack of a better word because his style is pretty eclectic, guitarist that sounds a whole lot like Jimi Hendrix. I would go as far as to say that he is closer to Hendrix than SRV ever was. Every time I have seen him has been mind-boggling. One time I saw him, with Buddy Miles on drums covering songs from the Hendrix:Band of Gypsys cd that I could not believe I was seeing.
