I think Michael Jackson, like many major celebrities, especially those who have been "stars" since childhood, has no grasp of the real world. He lives in a completely different world to most of us and hence has a completely different and bizarre perception of life. These people exist in a bubble - removed from reality - and the bigger the stardom, riches and celebrity, the bigger the bubble.
As to whether he is actually a child abuser or a "bad" person, I have no idea, for despite all the publicity, I don't think there has been enough evidence. But I do think he needs to try and re-enter the real world - something which is probably impossible for him at this stage; and that's the tragedy.
