: Haven't seen it yet.

Very good film. Took me two viewings to come up with a stance on it, but I dig it. Which, of course, means nothing to you seeing as how we disagree on SLEEPLESS... :P

: CAT is okay. It's probably one of Argento's weaker efforts on the whole, but the murders are nicely staged, and I like the relationship between Karl Malden and his neice (or is it his grand-daughter?).

That relationship is really cool. I think it's his neice, though, now that I am thinking about it, I don't know that they ever define the relationship. But yeah, I really did like the movie. Not his best, but I liked the performances throughout.

: INFERNO is a masterpiece, not just among horror films, but among films in general. It's Argento's crowning artistic achievement.

When I first saw it, I couldn't get into it. I liked everything about it, except for the story. But after watching it for the second/third/fourth/etc. time, the movie is really large in my books. But I still hate the reveal of the "mother" in it. The effect is pretty bunk. And to watch them talk about the effect on the DVD as if it looked good just hurts me. But I can't disagree with you about the overall quality of the film. It's definitely brilliant. I'm still a bigger fan of DEEP RED though. But that's just me.

: What did your grandmother think of TRAUMA?

She felt it lacked the style of the other flicks. Not really, but that's because we didn't watch it during the mini-marathon. I'll get her to check it out sometime. She oddly was really into Argento.
