with drum machines and too many words my mother would shame on me for saying, so seriously? These "rap" artists are doing anything to be as commercially successful as possible, without regard for how good that music once was. Almost every single rap artist in the last 5 years has sounded the same. There are some exceptions, and they are actually quite talented, but they'e HARDLY ever played on stations deamed TOP 40 radio. I too miss he good 'ol days of rap, when it was still great to listen to. Now it's just poppy, let's TRY to be gansta', and flash our bling bling around, recylced junk.

MUSIC RELATED SIDE NOTE: I found it very interesting that the big winner at this year's Grammies (Norah Jones) was someone who has bearly even broken onto the TOP 40 radio scene. Could it be that people who listen to the radio don't even like what they're hearing? Obviously it's true. Even if they did like it, it's a psychological tool that if you hear it enough, you'll eventually like it (sorry can't think of the exact term). So the more money that these record companies pay the radio, the more the song is played. Record companies are forcing us to like everything we hear. When most of the radio stations in a country are owned by the same company, it's easy to control what is heard. Whoah...there goes my brain, going off track again.

Way off the 50 Cent comments; I went off on a tangent there, and gave my political views on radio....sorry.
