Unfortunately it wasn't getting the audience it wanted (they wanted that treasured 18-49 demographic and weren't getting much beyond those in their mid 20's), so ABC booted it and only made 19 episodes. MTV had the rights to run them for a while. Lucky us, it's now on DVD. I would definitely rent at least the first dvd in the set to see if you like the feel of the show. I was in high school (maybe even a sophomore like Angela was) when the show was on, and it was my favorite show. If you can get past the mid 90's trends and those awful flannel shirts (yes, I wore them too), it's really one show that is timeless.

: i've never seen an episode, since it was a bit before my time. but i have heard from a few sources thats its fantastic, and now that im a cynical, rather lonely and bored high school junior, im sure i can appreciate it
