But the best part is the way that these uber-religious freaks blame various people for rises in teenage violence, but then they say, without irony, how "the teenage years are the most important years of your life", "life-long decisions" etc. ... Telling shit like that to kids in high school is what drives them to the point where they feel they have no choices left. Granted, they have to be somewhat messed up anyway, but lying about high school being important -- aside from it being important that one actually goes and graduates, and even that's not 100% essential, it's just a good idea -- and convincing kids that if they mess up in high school, their life is fucked ... isn't that what causes a lot of problems with kids?
