When I have kids, I hope his reruns are still on the air. Fred Rogers also deserves a lot of respect for sticking to his values and not taking the easy way out by using a bunch of third-rate mind-numbing cartoons for filler on his show. When I was looking at grad schools a few years ago one of the things that was a tiny factor in favor of my eventual choice was that he graduated from there. A place that produced Mr. Rogers just couldn't be that bad.
