: but I have read the rest. My favorite Stephen King book is IT. The movie kicked ass as well!!!
: I have watched The Dead Zone and I have to say that the first few episodes were cool, but since then dimished. I can't stand The Shining....That is the horror movie that scares the most!! I start to cry just watching it, even thinking about it!!
: Do I plan on seeing Dreamcatcher? No, I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD. I don't get to the movies too often. I'm lucky if I make it to the theater once a year.
I enjoyed "IT" as well. My son can't stand it, but watches it every time. He says Pennywise scares him to death. (Good old Tim Curry...what a great actor!)
I was never able to get through "Pet Semetary" without crying (the book), and was so disgusted with the movie I wouldn't stay for the whole thing. I have to admit that the part of "The Shining" that creeps me out the most is the purple lady in the bathtub...I have a thing about closed curtains and dripping water in tubs; I don't know why...
I don't get out to movies much, either. We are thinking about going to see "Gods and Generals" because my youngest is very much into the Civil War history, but my oldest wants to see "Daredevil" with his friends, so we may compromise (since we only go about once a year, as well). Usually we wait until the special editions are out on DVD. :o)
