Asking advice from Vincent = 1st mistake

Consider that you are asking advice from a person who has no successful movie to date and is still banking on his failure "A Better Place." Sad that he probably is ripping off something he read out of screenwriter magazine or Moviemaker.

Look, here's SOME REAL ADVICE: Whatever experience you write, make it personal. If your landlord pissed you off today, then start writing about him and try to figure out some creative way to make the script fit this personal experience. Eventually you'll get rolling and will go back and cut the landlord stuff out. But until you find someway to personally connect with the material, deep down inside you will always feel that the script sux!
