This is my first time posting, so let me just tell you (as I’m sure you've heard before) that I am a huge fan.

My questions involve your start in the business. I'm a screenwriting student and was hoping to make the jump into directing; however I have two slight problems that affect my budget. One is the use of music; the other is what to pay my actors.

How did you get the music from clerks, and how much did you pay your actors (if you did)?

I was wondering if you, or anyone else, could shed some light on the subject.

Also, you might like to know that for the third week in a row, the people who live above me are having really loud sex on a Thursday.
