I agree with most of what you said. The highlight of my documentary so far is that what I'm learning is that my anti-populist fundamentalism is the funniest of all! I agree, I'm as big a dork as any I lament. That is why I am making this documentary. So is more to it than this BUT I can't go into detail. Let's just say those insecure scenes in J&SBSB where Kevin goes off on people on the net who don't like him is VERY unpopular with critics and, hence, why I'm even here. EW last year even listed J@SBSB in its top 5 dumbest category for this bizarre obsession with his cyberfans.
But who's kiddin who? Kevin's praise of Daredevil is bullshit. This movie sucks and he's lying through his teeth when he says he likes it! It's an insult to the intelligence of his fans (the only reason why he's says he likes this movie is because Affleck is involved and, of course, his pointless cameo). The fact that movies like this get made is the height of what is wrong with Hollywood today. Malcomb, from what little I know of you it seems like you know a lot about movies. Let's be honest here. GROW A PAIR! Repeat after me: "Daredevil sucks!" If you say you like it it's because of fear of what Kevin and others might think. And that is the essence of selling out! The only reason I got the 28 Days Later gig is because Danny asked me 'point blank' what I thought of "The Beach" (a film he is still licking his wounds over) and I said "I liked the violent plantation owners, hated the video game sequence." Silence followed, (at first I thought I pissed him off), and he followed up with "do you have a business card?" The point is: overseas, respect is born for speaking your mind, asshole or not. In the states, that has all but disappeared.
