Now those were indeed tasteless, but very good photoshops.
: Rule 2) Children make perfect Photoshopping subjects, because they, unlike most people, don't care what other's think of them looking goofy. They do it as a natural thing anyway (tell me you didn't make silly faces when you were a kid, and when was the last time you did so to an adult??). As an avid Photoshopper I have multilated many a crappy picture (not that the photo of Kev's daughter was crappy) into a piece of digital art, such as it is.
: Rule 3) The more mundane the subject, the easier it is to photoshop. Kev's daughter was not chosen because it was Kevin's daughter. She was chosen because she was the best photo to use submitted that day. She is in a goofy pose, against a relatively easy background (easy to remove/change), and well illuminated. Now, the folks who know who Kevin Smith is may use that in the photoshop, but most don't know, or don't give a shiat about Kevin.
: And the last bit applies to this photoshop in particular. To those who are complaining that she is "only four". Great! She can't even use a damn computer and won't ever get to see the crappy photoshops, much less the really good ones, unless Mr. Smith happens to save them on his hard drive and shows them to her when she is older.
: As a final note, to the webmaster of this site, I noticed that you took down the original image. In 48 hrs you can put it back up with very litte traffic from Fark.com attributing to the bandwidth problem. This is due to the fact that Fark.com only displays the previous 48 hours worth of links on the main page, and very few folks actually check beyond that.
