: : : The character of cousin Walter could be likened to the friend,of a friend, of a friend who's cousin knew this guy. Like the funeral, cousin Walter links Clerks and Mallrats. While a retread of Mallrats would be mundane(possibly , making assumptions here) the return of said characters from Clerks and Mallrats could offer unique options. I felt cheated only having the Brodie character return for a very fleeting scene in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. The character was too strong to be minimalized to a bit part. Here's where cousin Walter comes in.....
: : : I'd love to see a movie, where cousin Walter is the focal point. But instead of the campy elements of Mallrats or the poignant elements of Chasing Amy , it would be interesting if the cousin Walter movie would balance both , you know an awkward dichotomy (ala MASH). With the main character being cousin Walter you could easily bring back Brodie for a significant role. I'm not saying JSB strike back was bad I'm just saying it was inadequate to tie up the New Jersey movies. It started out brilliantly and then they left Jersey. I wish they'd have stayed a little while longer.
: : : Just an idea.

: That chapter is not over in the view askew universe. Why? Because it was left unfinished. It was never concluded.
