They have meaning, but I doubt the Civil Rights marchers were truly dancing in the streets, unless you count geezing over high powered fire hoses.
And yes, New Metallica suck, they lost me after "...and justice for all." They went the way of the Aerosmith and the surving Zeppelin memebers, and most all bands that stay together after losing someone in a tragedy of some sort. (maybe it was life trying to tell them something)
