But I find it interesting to revisit. As the war started, I was watching the early hours on CNN and found myself kind of feeling the rush as anchor people stammered over comments, feeds didn't work and people ran around in the background. Then I felt a bit sick about my reaction. THEN, I realized how emotional I felt in the weeks after 911 (living so close, lower CT, and in love with NYC). It's all very exciting. And sick. I am ashamed and invigorated. I hate what is happening in the world today. Yet I can't stop thinking, talking and worrying about it.
