they made the jump to release it in the US.
I guess the ratings in the UK were fair or above or else it would of went straight to video or not of been released at all.
It was a huge gamble for Cuba Gooding Jr. I think he his last few movie choices were very well planned but not very well executed. He has already established a cult following with the guys. Kids loved him in Snow Dogs (which I was actually dragged to the theater by my son) and now he's trying to appeal to the ladies who enjoy romantic comdeies.
Can't blame a guy for trying!!
