NAT takes a request from my private IP and sends it out into the public address space. When a response comes from the target (ie this site) it sees gemini.55bank.com as the source of the request. The firewall remembers which machine on the private network made the request and routes appropriately. This is all done so that I can a) have as many PC's connected to the internet and only use one public IP (which are in high demand) and b) you cannot access any of my PC's via the public internet. You can only hit my firewall thus protecting me from abuse such as hacks and worms, etc.
