Think about it you guys, in the begining Jay was just a young weed smokin punk. Fresh out of high school almost. His life is pretty small town, noone knows who he is, he dosent have any money. Then all of a sudden Smith calls him up and puts him in a movie, not as a charactre but more as an extension of himself. Over the course of six movies he keeps playing this charactre, by all means he thinks this is how people need to see him at all times. Maybe thats why he's living like he does. Plus all that Viewaskew money it'd be hard not to fall into a smothering sespool of Drugs, Alchahol and Women. He's a true product of the system.
