Ah right, thank you for clearing that up. I don't think it's a War Against Islam either. I don't know if it's the same in the US, but over here it tends to be hip young pseudo-intellectual middle class types who like to be "trendy" by being ultra-cynical and condemning everything Bush and Blair do, developing their super duper conspiracy theories about oil and capitalist greed. In truth these people are just as narrow minded and irritating as the racist biggoted right wing pricks who think that bombing is the answer to everything.
I think this war is a mistake - it's an unwise and rather foolhardy action which fails to consider the long term implications. But it's not an evil western conspiracy against the Muslim world.
