: Praying for our troops - to me - means just hoping & wishing that they get home safe.
: I don't see it as "God, please guide them....", but as "I wish them well..."
: Comprende?
Here's the thing ... that's all well and good for you, but that's not the impression that I'm getting from the people that grizzly is talking about (read the "God is good" post) ... and, even aside from that, which I realize now wasn't grizzly's point (I was wrong on that), if you're taking a class, is that really the time to be praying for our troops? Isn't that much more of a private thing?
But especially to be forced to do it, while you're supposed to be learning, it seems weird. It's like, I can understand them saying "Pray for our troops" at the beginning of a class, but to get pissed at somebody for not wanting to during class and thus disrupt the class seems wrong.
