Thank you for making us laugh on so many different occasions.

Thank you for taking a chance and maxing out all of your credit cards to make a movie you knew was good.

Thank you for not letting the negative press of Mallrats get to you, instead turning around and putting out another critically acclaimed film.

Thanks for Jay and Silent Bob.

Thanks for not only having the guts to poke some fun at your own religion, but actually going out to march with the people who protested the film when it was playing in theaters.

Thank you for the dick and fart jokes. (Why not? Someone had to say it.)

Thank you for Clerks, a movie that I identified so strongly with at the time (working a local convenience store myself).

Thank you for creating films with a cult following, and then creating a final film with all sorts of inside jokes geared towards that same cult following.

Thank you for the comic supplements, Chasing Dogma and the Bluntman and Chronc series.

Thank you for helping to launch the careers of several great actors.

And Most Importantly, once again, thanks for all the laughs.

Amazing to think about, but your movies have touched a lot of us. And I, for one, would simply like to say.... thank you.
