: Constanza's extended plea in "Amadeus." The absence of this (the
: standard commercial cut) leaves an uncomfortable feeling of "wha?"
: when, at the end of the film (the transcribing scene's "morning after"),
: she's so explosively pissed at Salieri. (Plus, an extra punch to the
: "don't have anyone to show you the door" line.) Including it would've
: been not so much gratuitous nudity, but more motive-explanation.

: And, too keep it on-topic, Fiorentino's breakdown at the clinic was just
: alarmingly good. Can't say, though, that it would've made "Dogma"
: flow better...but, gah. All sorts of good.

: My $0.02.

the dogma scene that is. havent seen the directors cut of the amadeus.
i totally thought it was smart to cut out of the film, but god damn it was great. it was written, acted, and directed superbly.
