From THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, the scenes where Crawford goes to John Hopkins and convinces them to let him see their records. Also from the same flick, the series of scenes where Clarice tries to convince the FBI that Buffalo Bill knew his first victim, but she gets rebuffed and goes off to find him on her own.
There are two important scenes in the workprint version of Dario Argento's TRAUMA that should have been left in the film. The first one happens right after the opening murder set-piece, and involves David dropping his girlfriend Grace off at the train station where he sees Aura for the first time trying to steal a train ticket. The way David and Aura are introduced in the final cut of the film- during the follow-up scene, as David drives across a bridge and sees Aura attempt suicide and saves her- seems rather abrupt. Also, much later in the film there's an important dialogue scene between David and Grace after he's "lost" Aura where she gives David phony prescription forms. Both of those scenes should've stayed in the final film.
