Ellis's Novel is good.
Regarding the movie, The acting was spot on. The rewind technique was interesting the first time, but felt repetitive very quickly. It had some scenes which I looked forward to and liked 'cause of the novel.
...If you guys were in a room full of naked girls, at a 'Dressed to get fucked' party, you would all be staring at every naked women that was in the room, (and they would expect you to) and vice versa. That doesn't happen in this film.
It appears that the novel just wasn't that movie worthy, however,
American Psycho Novel > Movie was terrific. They took the elements that worked best for film, and made (in my opinion)a very good film. Maybe they should have done that with this one.
But i'll still be buying the DVD for the commentary, and i'll probably like it more the 2nd time.
