Than others, so emotions being controlled have to have a focus point to dwell in. My opinion is that with all of this forbidden power as well as life and death hanging on your every choice, I'd bet millions (if I had it) to say that Frodo, once he gives in to the power of the One Ring, would have sported some mean Oak.
