Yes its true that the National Film Board (amongst a few other such erhmm art-movie-thingy fund-giver-thingy (i have such a mastery of the words.. amazes me).. But its not ALL good.. since most people rely on that type of funding in Canada, we're stuck with low-budget productions. It is good for budding newcomers, no more.
