: 10. I went to see a dental surgeon about my wisdom teeth today. He says if I don't have them removed there's a 20% chance that some point in the future food will get trapped and i'll get an infection and be in great pain. BUT if he removes them there's a 5% chance that he'll sever a nerve and my lips will be numb forever. What should I do?

1. Get a second opinion! (Especially if you are paying cash)
2. Keep em clean and you won't have a problem - I'm almost 40 and still have all mine - it's a bitch to floss back there, but better than oral surgery.
