: 10. I went to see a dental surgeon about my wisdom teeth today. He says if I don't have them removed there's a 20% chance that some point in the future food will get trapped and i'll get an infection and be in great pain. BUT if he removes them there's a 5% chance that he'll sever a nerve and my lips will be numb forever. What should I do? get them pulled. trust me it will always be better. one of those things that has become useless and can casue problems later- like the appendix.
