I've seen a few, and yes they scare the shit out of me every time. : 10. I went to see a dental surgeon about my wisdom teeth today. He says if I don't have them removed there's a 20% chance that some point in the future food will get trapped and i'll get an infection and be in great pain. BUT if he removes them there's a 5% chance that he'll sever a nerve and my lips will be numb forever. What should I do? : Like they say, if it ain't broke. Don't try to fix it. With teeth that is hella-truth. I've had a friend who had his wisdom's taken out, and his right side of his jaw is numb. He can't feel his own daughter touching his cheek!!! And i've had a friend who has 2 (2 mind you) cracked wisdom teeth and they have never given him trouble as long as he brushes 2x per day, and flosses.
