: I have always doubted your intelligent but now I have proof you tow the line for idiots everywhere.
-You really like that Tow-the-line phrase, don't you? I recommend a thesaurus. The correct form of the phrase is TOE the line, and it means to conform or follow he rules. I am not sure exactly which context you are trying to use it in, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here.
: How fuckin stupid can you get? If you don't like my rant, ask your buddy George Carlin what he thinks.
-What the hell does it matter what Gerge Carlin thinks? I certainly don't base my life and opinions around what George Carlin, or any other celebrity for that matter, thinks. I form my own opinion through research and careful thinking. You should try it.
: He agrees as with any red blooded Anti-American that the US are the nazis, not Iraq.
-Now you are the one being unfair, comparing the US to Nazi Germany. There is even less basis for comparison here than what you railed against Vincent for in HIS comparison. Try learning a little history. Here's a short lesson:
Nazi Germany was bent on world domination through military force. The US has no such aspirations. We already believe we've conquered the world by spreading our culture, ideas, philosophy, and lifestyle. Americans in whole believe we they at the top of the world.
Nazi Germany was anti-religious in a general way. They believed in the religion of the Nazi party, and dedication to the state, and Hitler himself often railed against Christianity and Judaism, and believed the Muslims were barbarians. The US believes in religious tolerence very deeply, so much so that it was written into the Constitution, the document upon all US law must abide by. Read it sometime.
Nazi Germany slaughtered an estimated 5 million Jews, and they hadn't even declared war on them first. The Gulf War was responsible for an estimated 1500 Iraqi casualties. The numbers certainly do not support your thesis.
: I have my own theory why you made this argument: you want the one-hundred fans that like Kevin Smith to think you are patriotic.
-I, too, believe I know why you made this argument. You want attention. Perhaps you are operating under the theory that the only bad press is no press. I disagree. People with be more likely to listen to what you have to say if you put forth your opinions clearly, positively, and without resorting to insulting others.
: As if anyone cares what Vincent thinks. Watch out! Vincent has an opinion! Call the National Enquirer!
-The same can be said for you.
: Lay off the patriotic crap. You sound like a rabid anti-communist towing the line for a Fox news.
-Lay off the Vincent bashing. If you want to state an informed opinion, I fully respect that. If, however, you want to rant
: Comparing Saddam to the Nazis is (A) simply not true and (b) as cliche as it gets. The right wing idiot network "Fox News" has smarter responses than you and that's not saying much.
: The nazis orchestrated the genocide of millions at a time when less than a billion people were on this earth.
Actually, the population of the earth around this time is almost 1.7 billion.
Hitler was a fuckin maniac with an army that matched the US nearly ounce for ounce.
-Saddam Hussein is a madman. Actual soldier numbers had become rather insignificant with the advent of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. NBCs turn an advantage in saize into a disadvantage, because a large mass of troops in a concentrated area can be easily incapacitated with a very small NBC weapon. The Presidency has informed the public that Hussein has these weapons, and it is public knowledge (note: knowledge, not opinion) that he has used them in the past. This means that he may have a smaller army, but he may still match the US in terms of military might, especially because he has a home field advantage.
: The Nazis almost won the war had it not been for FDR and a lot of luck.
-And what exactly are you trying to say? The Axis was toppled by the hard work and dedication of the Allies, no doubt about it. It was indeed a close call on many occasions. The Axis had quite a force to contend with. Remember, however, that when the US officially entered the war was Dec. 8th, 1941. That was right after Japan destroyed the Pacific fleet. We went into the war with a crippled military, and still managed to come out victorious.
: Comparing Saddam's regime to Nazi germany is a stupid pro-war justification for morons who don't want to think (aka. you).
Ranting about this repeatedly is a stupid justification for grabbing attention by stupid people who refuse to put out a sensible, well thought response (i.e. you)
America invaded Iraq without international cooperation.
-America is not at the beck and call of the world. That is what it means to be a superpower. We have to do what we believe is right, regardless of international opinion. Otherwise, what good would our power be?
: America has murdered hundreds of thousands of Iraqis in both Gulf War I and now Gulf War II.
-Read those stats again, I believe you are mistaken, as I pointed out earlier.
:Do you really think that Bush gives a fuck about democracy overseas? He wants oil and an opportunity to feed his ego.
-Do you really think the President of the most powerful nation on the planet can start a war just because he wants to? You may have your opinion of the President, but no one gets into that office without realising the supreme responsibility the job entails, period.
: When we liberated Kuwait "to restore democracy", we restored the dictatorship, not democratic rule.
-The Gulf war was ONLY about removing Iraq's presence form Kuwait; they were expected to handle the rest of their affairs on their own. We succeeded. Iraq did not go back to Kuwait. Where did you get your quote from?
: Iraq has never fired a single shot at America prior to our invasion(s). Iraq has yet to yield weapons of mass destruction (even the Pentagon is admitting now that they probably
