: not only could my typing use serious improvement, but this really isn't that great of an idea.
: : Title: The Stash (you'll see why in a min)
: : Writer/Director: Brian D Webber (the D used to stand for Dalles, my dad's first name, but I dropped the 'alles' when I turned 18, so now it's like the S in Harry S Truman)
: : Plot: A young Colorado man named Scott Yates (based on me, but thinner and better looking and smarter) finds hismelf in a dual quandry. First, an ex-grilfriend dumps a baby girl on his lap (almost literlaly) then takes off. She naemd the baby of course but this is part of problem 2 so I won't get into it yet. Anyway, the girl's parents wnat nothing to do with the kid or the guy. The kid becuase her mother was hooked on heroin (the baby is healthy regardless), the guy because he's a Trekkie who like Star Wars and kevin Smith movies and comics and all the Fanboy shit, and they're devout Christians who think sci-fi/fantasy is evil. The kicker? This guy is not only NOT the baby's daddy, but he's still a virgin! A 21 year old virgin with a baby! However, for no good reason (to show how fucked up the mommy is), he is put down on the birth certificate as the father and the irl has his last name. The real father is not revealed in the sotry becuase this isn't a fucking Lifetime flick. 2nd problem? He doesn't like the name the girl has gotten. Prudence Melinda Yates. The girl's Mommy as we learn early on was a HUGE fan of the TV series Charmed and named her baby after waht the Holly marie Combs character was going to naem her baby until they found out that baby was a boy (see episode The Dya The Magic Died). The character based on me doesn't like the show (although I admit that I do), and doesn't liket he diea of his new daughter being associated with it or with Shannen Doherty whom he also doesn't like and neither do I, although I still like Charmed, Mallrats, and Heathers. Anyway, on advice from his Mom he doesn't change the name. Then for some reason I haven't decided on yet, Scott decides to start a new life with his daughter Prue and moves to New Jersey, and one of the things he does? He applies for a job at Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash! hence the title. Afte rthat my diea gets really fuzzy. Suggestions? Comments? Flames?
Thank you. I'll just crawl into my closet and read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the 42nd time. :-(
