Is all that what you liked, or you're just stating things that happened? I'm confused.
: It is a solid movie in my mind.
: 1) Don't expect everything to be obvious. THINK about what you know. Also some questions are to be answered in the third movie.
: 2) None of the major characters die. At least not permanently.
: 3) Neo has developed his powers to withstand upgrades to the Matrix. Actually seeing the "source code" which powers it. Hence a tangent into "what is/is not a program."
: 4) Neo now has "visions" where his operates like the Oracle in seeing
: the future. Hence the so-called "confusing" opening with Trinity.
: 5) Agent Smith acts like a Rogue program. He is no longer a "normal" agent. Able to hack into people's links and turn them into duplicates of himself(Remember the close calls with Neo and Morpheus). Possibly infesting a human form (Remember him picking up the phone ala the others like Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity? Returning to the "real world")
: 6) A lot of Neo's motivation for being the One is visibly because of his love for Trinity (and maybe the human race too). But more about the link with Trinity (see Persephone kiss, and the Booty Call Cave scene).
: 7) The Architect aka "Father of the Matrix" is seen for the first time. Do not necessarily take his presence to be another human. (Program perhaps ala Oracle "the Mother of the Matrix"?)
: 8) As far as the ending two possibilities linger...
: - The "real world" is really another Matrix which Neo figures out.
: - Neo develops his mental powers enough to be used in the "real world"
: 9) Choice - Major topic. Is a blessing and a burden. Good or bad.
