: First of all let me say I'm a big fan. I picked up Dardevil:The Target #1 like 6 or 7 months ago. For some reason you just didn't feel like finishing it. The same with Black Cat. I mean don't get me wrong I love you writing but how can you start a project and just not finish it. Thats really not fair to the fans.

I actually have some insight into this, and it explains why chuckleheads like me never manage to produce anything and waste what little talent they've got. You see, anything starts with an idea. It's just that simple. An idea. Ideas are fun. Ideas are cheap. Turning an idea into a movie or a comic or a regular book with words & stuff takes *work* Lots of it and you have to work for a long time until it's finished. And then there are people who want you to go on talk shows and stuff to talk about it. Jesus, man, it's done. Just read it or watch it. More work promoting the damn thing, when you're sick as hell of it. It's very easy to run out of gas. It's very easy to say 'eh, screw it.' and just drop it.

In the case of these comics, there may very well be other factors behind the scenes, I don't know.
