NASCAR is just a microcosm for everything wrong about The South.

People just... watching pre-verbal troglodytes drive suped-up cars in circles over and over and over until one of them gets into the accident they've been waiting for... so that if it's one of the lesser-known car drivers they can watch the accident over and over with adolescent glee and if it's one of the better-known ones, they can beatify them to Elvis-Diana Sainthood (tm).

There's no blacks except the ones that work the concession stand, there's no women but the cornfed blondes that kiss whichever Mouth-breathing Messiah wins today... and everyone's got some goddamn ugly flag to wave.
