I really liked Spiderman when I first saw it.
But upon second viewing, I questioned my own personal sanity. It wasn't very good at all. It was decent and extremely entertaining, but there was something missing. Maybe it's that I realized I don't like Tobey Macguire outside of roles like Pleasantville. Maybe I realized that I absolutely hated Dafoe as the Goblin. Maybe it was that I have finally realized that Kirsten Dunst can't act. Well that last one isn't entirely true, as I liked her in Drop Dead Gorgeous and Interview with the Vampire. Haven't seen her other stuff aside from Spidey, but plan on seeing a few. Mainly Virgin Suicides and Crazy-Beautiful. (I think I'll like the former but is the latter any good?)

Same thing with Daredevil. But I think I actually liked it more. I liked whats-his-face who played Kingpin - he did a good job. I liked Farrel as bullseye. I did not like Garner at all. Affleck was alright, kinda. I don't like him in most of the stuff he is in. However there is the odd one I do enjoy (mainly Kevin's stuff - without any bias I think it's his best work, with things like Good Will Hunting, though I can't think of anymore at this time).

Even though as a kid I liked Spiderman far better (barely knew anything about DD) I like Daredevil a bit better.
