This needs to be in the summaries now.

: Can we stop dissing this type of message board? Seriously.

: It's beautiful in it's fucking simplicity.

: You see a post? You click on it. No fucking confusing threading, no annoying smilies or automatic signatures, no having to read 25 comments to get one post.

: You just wanna read Kevin's posts? Easy. Just Vin, Lynch and Malcolm? Easy. Just your favorite "normal" posters? Easy...

: You just look at the list of posts and pick. No hidden menus, no five clicks to even see what you wanna get to. It's all there.

: What You See Is What You Get... the best thing that a computer program can be.

: Plus the added attraction that it's a lot quicker to load that "fancier" boards for people with 28.8 or 36.6 modems... and most importantly, if you're new to the internet, it's not imposing:

: You wanna read something, you click it.

: How the fuck can you beat that?

: Granted, it requires a little more maintenance than some of the tech-head types of boards... but as long as Ming doesn't mind flipping the board thrice a week and occasionally nuking a flamer, I don't really see the problem.

: Most importantly, Kevin seems to dig the ease of accessability... you don't need to be on RoadRunner or on the newest version of a browser for it to work just fine. Travelling, on a laptop, on an airport kiosk... it's always gonna work.

: The only people who don't dig this board, honestly, are people who look at the internet as an evolving bit of programming that needs to be "updated" for the sake of updating...

: But for those of us who just barely grasp the idea that creates a line break let along Java or Kava or Lala, it's the fucking perfect way to just straight-up communicate, no bullshit.

: The only thing I'd change about this board, technically, would be to grant it the ability to ban individual AOL users without banning whole AOL servers. And I've been told that's pretty much impossible.

: Mike
