An AIM or otherwise chatroom has nothing to do with the board, and is an entity unto its own. Cognitive theory in the digital age has rocked the foundation of pedagogy, but I'd be happy to explain the separation of real-time applications from threaded asynchronous communiques any time you catch me online. :)
The other board you speak of is a dev site, and open only for suggestions at this point - so really, I'm not sure why 5 people would have registered, but thanks for dropping by!
