First question:
I have a question for anyone who can read (or rather reads this.) In Dogma, the 13th apostle (Rufus) drops out of the sky and needs a jacket. Before Silent Bob offers him his Jay says "He just dropped out of the sky!!" or something like that. How do you people take this line? I have always took it as him saying "give it to him, it's not everyday some dude falls out of the sky." And then he changes his mind by clarifying that his piece would be rubbing inside Bob's armour. My question is did anyone take Jay's comment the other way, as in both are prompting Bob not to give Rufus the jacket? I've just been thinking about that since last time I saw it.
Secondly:
Just finished watching Virgin Suicides. Thought it was an okay movie, but nothing great. I'm definitely gonna have to give it a second sitting. What did you people think? What's interesting also is that half the songs in the movie are apparently by an east coast Canadian band that I'm sure some of you have heard of called Sloan. I'm not a huge Sloan fan and I only recognized the one song in the credits, but didn't remember hearing "The Good in Everyone" in the actual movie (another reason for the second sitting).
Thats it for now.
I haven't been around much because I've finally gotten a job and I've been watching alot of movies, new and old, and some in between (classic 90s stuff I seem to have missed). I'll probably come back and talk about some of those another time.
