My advice would be to finish the script, from beginning to end. Even if you reread it & think it's the worst piece of shit ever written, you'll have some sense of accomplishment that you were at least able to finish a script. Do you know how many people in the world start a script but never finish it?
After it's done, you can go back, pull out the golden parts, and rewrite around them. It sounds annoying and time-consuming, I know, but it's worth the effort in the end, because even if you decide not to do anything with it, it proves that you CAN do anything you want to do.
