From what I know of Jesus, I've always thought of Jesus as a guy who wanted to send a message to his people. He had his way of looking at the world and how it worked, and tried to share it with others. right, or wrong, who knows? Did he really perform those miracles? Possibly - he's not the only prophet in the Bible to raise someone from the dead or to pull the miracle of the loaves of bread (Elijah and Elisha did the same).

But with all due respect, and I don't mean to offfend anyone here, it's tough for me to buy into the "son of G-d" angle. Besides the fact that we're all G-d's children, it just doesn't seem his style to send a messenger via an immaculate conception. G-d's always been a very hands-on type. He's the one that does all the real work when it came to miracles. The prophets are just the go-betweens.

Again, I mean no disrespect. You asked for our opinions, and I gave it to you. If you have faith in Jesus being a certain type of person or being, then someone else with a different view shouldn't shake your beliefs or ideas too much.
