Dear Kevin:

My wife and I have been long-time fans of your films (since Clerks), and we just last weekend watching the "Evening with Kevin Smith" on DVD. This was hidden in the back of the local blockbuster video store, but I managed to find it an convince the counter-guys to move it to a more prime-location.

I built and research for the American Antigravity website at http://www.americanantigravity.com -- its an Open-Source website aimed at promoting new AG technologies. If you're ever in the Seattle area, you'd be more than welcome to drop by for a demonstration of the Lifter technology, which creates propulsion without any moving parts.

Basically, the technology is a solid-state electronic method of lifting solid objects without using any kind of chemical fuels, like rocket-propellant or whatever. I have a ton of clips on the website, so if you get the chance check it out online.

My wife wanted to know if you're serious about not using the Jay & Silent Bob characters in any new movies -- we figured that you guys would probably at least make some cameos in future films, but you sounded pretty adamant in the DVD interview.

If you end up discontinuing the Jay & Silent Bob characters, have you given thought to taking on different roles? Both of yourselves are a bit typecast at this point, but it seems like everybody in Hollywood is these days, and a lot of actors have been breaking out of the traditional roles into new character-portrayals & genres (I would use the example of Bruce Willis in 'The Sixth Sense' but I'm not sure if that was a successful attempt, or just a best-effort try on his part).

Thanks Again;

Tim Ventura
